I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend. I know
alot of you will be out there today doing your gardening. As many of you know I am not a gardener, but today I felt that I should go out and see about cleaning up our beds. Okay so I really don't get the enjoyment that people derive from gardening. Yes I love to see the plants in bloom etc. but I have to tell you, not liking the dirty hands, the scraps on the arms, etc. So you say put gloves on! and I did but then my hands were hot and then they smell like rubber. So after pulling dead branches and raking the leaves that we didn't do last year, I asked Brian if we could hire a gardener and also asked him what were we thinking planting all these beds. Needless to say we aren't getting a gardener and Brian's solution to the leaves is just blow them into the woods and as for the stuff in the garden, when the plants grow in they will cover last years dead stuff.
So here I sit writing the blog and out there is Brian cleaning up all the little piles of debris that I made. Now I have to say to all that know we have a landscaping company
Alpine Interlocking please note the 'Interlocking' no soft landscaping just hard (driveways, walkways, retaining walls etc). So the state of our beds is in no way a reflection of the companies work, it just like the saying about "the mechanics car".
So my hat is off to all of you out there that love the gardening.
